Ann Burton - IRS Stakeholder Liaison

Ann Burton has worked for the Internal Revenue Service for 37 years. During her employment with the IRS, Ann has worked as a Taxpayer Service Specialist, assisting individuals on a variety of tax inquiries. Prior to her coming to Stakeholder Liaison function, Ann was a Manager in the Customer Service Division. Currently, Ann works with national and local payroll associations and industry stakeholders providing information on recent IRS tax law changes which affect them.

Josh Dorrell - Wyoming Business Council, CEO

Josh became the CEO of the Business Council in February 2020. Prior to the Business Council, he served as Senior Vice President of Technology Services and Solutions with Laramie-based Trihydro Corporation since 2015. Dorrell also teaches at the University of Wyoming as an assistant lecturer in the College of Business. Dorrell was named Professor of the Year in 2013. Prior to Trihydro, Dorrell worked in data management, sales, and product development for IDES, a small software company in Laramie. IDES was later purchased by UL (Underwriters Laboratories).

Sharon Geissler - DWS Workforce Development  Training Fund (WDTF) Program Lead

Sharon's primary focus is learning what each business needs and how WDTF might be able to support them in their training endeavors.  She has worked in the hospitality and tourism industry, property management, business consulting, a teacher and was a business owner with her husband for 19 years. Given an opportunity to pivot, Sharon earned her Elementary Education licensure and became a teacher in the public-school system. 

Christina West - DWS Employment and Training Deputy  Administrator

Christina has devoted her career to helping others. She has a passion for working with young adults and has worked with youth for over 20 years in various settings, which include residential treatment centers, Department of Family Services, Job Corps and Vocational Rehabilitation. Christina has worked with the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services for over 5 years. Christina serves on the Employment and Training Committee for the National Association of State Workforce Agencies.
